“We have had an outstanding experience building with Hearthstone Luxury Homes. From the very beginning, the process has been exceptionally well-run end to end, with Jeff and Dan setting a clear, thoughtful, and well-structured foundation that made us feel confident in every step.

The design phase as a whole was excellent. Chris and Wes stayed closely in tune with our design ideas throughout the process, helping guide decisions in a way that incorporated our ideas and provided us with a thoughtful layout and design. Sofia delivered a great 3D design review that helped us visualize the home in a meaningful way.

Susan and Stephanie then guided us through an incredibly well-organized decorating and selections process. There in-person visits, combined with a comprehensive presentation package that layered every decision by room—lighting, tile, cabinets, plumbing, and exterior selections—made the experience both enjoyable and efficient.

While planning is critical, execution is where a builder truly proves their value, and Zach has been exceptional. His attention to detail, patience, and ability to calibrate execution with expectations has made a huge difference. He listens carefully, even when we notice things in the field that we might want to adjust, and he consistently helps translate those ideas into reality. Having a construction manager of his caliber has been one of the strongest parts of the entire experience.

On the communication and transparency front, BuilderTrend has been a great tool for tracking decisions, selections, and allowances. Julie has kept everything organized and easy to follow, and we especially appreciate the recent addition of the consolidated task list—it has become our single source of truth for open items.

“From the very beginning, the design process with Hearthstone Luxury Homes stood out to us. One of the biggest reasons we chose them was their in-house architectural team. We loved being able to design a truly custom home without the stress of hiring a separate architect, paying for plans, and then hoping a builder could actually deliver the home within budget.

The entire process felt very collaborative. The team guided us through decisions while keeping our budget in mind, and they were always transparent about options and costs along the way. The 3D walkthroughs were especially helpful because they allowed us to really visualize the home and make adjustments before construction began. Nothing ever felt rushed, and making changes throughout the process was never an issue.

During construction, communication was excellent. I was on site often, and the project manager was great to work with. He appreciated having an extra set of eyes, and I always felt informed throughout the build with no unexpected surprises.

The design team was also exceptional. Our designer really understood the look and feel we were trying to achieve and helped narrow down choices in a way that made the process enjoyable instead of overwhelming.

Now that we’re living in the home, what stands out most is that we have no regrets on any of our decisions. We absolutely love the way the house sits on the lot, along with the patio and bar area, which have become some of our favorite spaces in the home.

Overall, the whole process was better than I thought it would be. Everyone from Jeff to the designers and project managers was professional, responsive, and committed to making things go smoothly. “After searching for the right home and lot for quite some time, we knew almost immediately when we found this homesite that this is it. We wanted to be in a real neighborhood, but still have a home designed around our needs, and Hearthstone Luxury Homes helped bring that vision together beautifully. The design process was straightforward and easy, and we felt like the team really listened to what we needed. Our lot was unique and somewhat challenging, but they created a design that worked extremely well for the property and for our family. They were able to design a home with very little wasted space, and the layout truly reflects how we want to live. As we went through the process, we felt like they understood what we were trying to accomplish and came up with a great design.

Communication throughout the early stages of construction has also been excellent. Zach has been very responsive and easy to work with, and the team has been helpful in guiding us through selections and decisions. Since we are coming in from out of town, they have made the process much easier by lining up appointments and helping us make the most of our time when we are here.

One thing that really stood out was the team’s ability to see possibilities we had not considered. For example, we originally thought we would need a long, winding driveway, but after work began on the site, they realized there may be a better way to position the driveway and garage access. That kind of vision and problem solving has been impressive.

Overall, they’ve been great to work with, and the house is coming together even faster than we expected. It has been a very good experience, and we are very excited about our new home. –Todd and Barbara“
